CCA FBLA Attends District Competition

The Clinton Christian Academy (CCA) Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter attended district competition on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at University of Central Missouri. CCA had the following twelve high school students in attendance: Taylor Bateman, Carissa Compton, Marlee Cronhardt, Vivian Cronhardt, Clara Hyke, Priscilla Lanning, Colten Manning, Kade Manning, Timothy Neal, Kennedy Vaughn, Jared Wisniewski, and Hannah Wright. Students participated in a wide variety of events requiring objective assessments, business presentations, and/or video submissions. Students could participate in up to three events.
Several students placed in their events and received district medals: Advertising – Marlee Cronhardt 2nd place, Business Calculations – Timothy Neal 2nd place, Business Plan – Kade Manning 1st place, Human Resource Management – Timothy Neal 5th place, Introduction to Business Concepts – Colten Manning 1st place, Introduction to Business Procedures – Hannah Wright 1st place, Introduction to Marketing Concepts – Colten Manning 3rd place, Introduction to Social Media Strategy – Colten Manning 1st place, Job Interview – Clara Hyke 5th place, Public Service Announcement – Marlee Cronhardt, Priscilla Lanning & Kade Manning 2nd place, Sales Presentation – Carissa Compton & Clara Hyke 5th place, Social Media Strategies – Marlee Cronhardt 5th place, Sports & Entertainment Management – Vivian Cronhardt, Kennedy Vaughn, and Hannah Wright 3rd place, Supply Chain Management – Kennedy Vaughn 3rd place & Jared Wisniewski 5th place.
Eight students have qualified for state competition and will be attending state competition in Springfield April 14-16th. The state qualifiers are as follows: Marlee Cronhardt, Priscilla Lanning, Colten Manning, Kade Manning, Timothy Neal, Kennedy Vaughn, Jared Wisniewski and Hannah Wright. Congratulations Patriots!
