Cardinal alum Trey Miller is ranked 8th at the D2 National Tournament. He qualified in the Decathlon by scoring a 7048 at Regionals. The National D2 Track Meet is held at Grand Valley State, Allendale, Michigan, May 26-28. We wish Trey and his UCM teammates well at the meet. The decathlon is a 10-event spectacle featuring the pole vault, high jump, long jump, javelin, shot put, discus, 110-meter hurdles, 100-meter dash, 400-meter run, and — wait for it — a 1500-meter run. Can you imagine trying to be good at all of these events? That is why these athletes are considered the best all-around athletes.
