The team is coached by Aaron Fickle and Dale Dowse, aided by many volunteers.

The Golden Valley Swim Club has several serious rivals: Raytown (Woodson), Butler, Grandview but in my mind Louisburg may be their biggest rival. Well, the GVSC (Dolphins) took care of business on the road Saturday, July 17, and beat the Louisburg Barracudas 256 to 231. I am told this does not happen very often. Clearly the Golden Valley Swim Club has a long and storied history. It has been a great year so far with the conference meet finals coming up on Saturday, July 24, at Butler.
