Jerry Dale Long, age 84, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023 at his home surrounded with family. Jerry’s wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held on Saturday, March 25th at two o’clock in the afternoon at the Clinton Rotary Club located at 200 W Franklin St, Clinton, Missouri. Jerry Dale Long was born on July 20, 1938 in Clinton, Missouri. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1957 and would later find fulfillment as a union iron worker. After retirement he enjoyed fishing in Texas with his wife. Survivors include his wife Shirley Ann Long; his son Douglas Long; his siblings, 1 brother and 3 sisters; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
