Betty Jean Williams

Betty Jean Williams, 92, of Clinton, Missouri passed away early Sunday morning, July 19, 2026 at Adair Village. She was born January 7, 1934 in Clinton, MO, the daughter of Harry F. Rinard and Beulah (Hicks) Rinard.

She married Reverend Edward Wayne Williams on June 3, 1951 at Good Hope Baptist Church in Coal, MO. He preceded her in death on December 31, 2011. She assisted Rev. Williams with all of his ministerial duties. They were members of numerous churches around the country, becoming especially fond of Eastside Baptist Church in Springfield, Oregon. In addition to helping Rev. Williams, she was also a full time mom. She enjoyed cooking and following the Kansas City Royals. Betty was extremely competitive, whatever the activity was, especially playing Scrabble with her daughters.

She is survived by two sons, Michael W. Williams (Anna), Pleasant Hope, MO and Jeffrey O. Williams (Tammie), Clinton, MO; two daughters, Marilyn J. Smith (Kent), Wheatland, MO and Kathryn A. Lange (John), Sedalia, MO; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jerry Grider, Grand

Junction, Colorado and Dee Dee Sell, Clinton, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one grandson, David Lange; one brother, Harry Rinard, Jr.; and one sister, Dorothy Koch.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., just prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Parks Chapel Cemetery.

Larry Eugene Wilson

Larry Eugene Wilson, age 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Clinton Healthcare and Rehab. in Clinton, Missouri.

Larry was born on March 20, 1945, to Eugene and Elberta Strickland Wilson. He grew up in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School. On May 14, 1972, he married Paula Mallett.

After retiring from Walmart Automotive Department, he could be seen around town mowing lawns. Larry loved to hunt and fish his entire life, including turkey and duck hunting. He would share his bounty by holding many fish fries over the years.

Larry is survived by Paula, his wife of 54 years, sons Marty Wilson (Tammy) of Urich and Shawn (Amanda) of Gillette, Wyoming, a grandson, Kyle Wilson and his sister, Ronda Novitsky (Richard). He is also survived by his nephews and many cousins and friends.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents and a step-grandson, Kyle Bower.

Graveside services were held July 6, 2026 in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton with Rev. David Mills officiating.
