Care Connection Will Hold Election For Benton County Representative For Executive Board

An election to appoint a candidate to represent Benton County on the Care Connection for Aging Services Board of Directors will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 2, 2024.

Balloting will take place at the Cole Camp Senior Center, 206 E. Junge, Cole Camp, and the Warsaw Senior Center, Harbor Village, 17571 North Dam Access Road, Warsaw. Voting is open to those 60 and older with a permanent residence in Benton County.

Absentee ballots are available at each center or can be requested before June 21, 2024, by calling the Warsaw Senior Center at 660-438-3300 or the Cole Camp Senior Center at 660-668-2352. Absentee ballots must be returned to the center by July 1, 2 p.m., or postmarked by June 28, 2024.

About the candidates:

Janelle Segari
Janelle has lived in Warsaw since 2011 and has been the Benton County representative for the past eight years. She retired in 2011 after working 25 years for the Principal Financial Group. She has volunteered at the Senior Center for 12 years helping at the front desk, in the cafeteria, and with fundraisers.

Pamela Osburn
Pam has lived in Cole Camp for nearly 40 years. She graduated with her AND in 1984 from Missouri Western State College and began a long career in nursing. She has spent the last 31 years working at the Sylvia G. Thompson Center.
