Happy Birthday shoutouts for the coming week, Pastor Tony Smith, Monday, July 16; Gail Heier, Wednesday, July 17; Sue Bumstead, Thursday, July 18; and happy, happy birthday to one of my boys, Breyer Hilburn on Sunday, July 21!

The weather was full of moisture for the last week, and that really slowed farmers time in the fields mowing, raking and baling hay. Some even had hay down and it was rained on. The animals will appreciate it this winter anyway.

Fristoe Pentecostal Lighthouse Church invites anyone who doesn't have a home church to stop and visit the lighthouse. We were talking some time ago about the church sign and who had built it and it was mentioned that Dick Mann had probably been the one that did the work. The church had it done in honor of Donald Gemes. Donald's grandson is the Superintendent of the Warsaw school district! The church was blessed by music from Connie and Dave Cunningham, Claude and Delores Prater and the Lighthouse Singers.

Br. Smith's message was found in Mark chapter one. Adult Sunday school is starting the second unit of this chapter next week that is entitled Psalms that weren't penned by David.

Thought for the week: Faith and courage are like kites; opposing winds raise them higher! God is like Hallmark cards! He cared enough that He sent the very best, His Son!

Everyone reading Fristoe News, have a wonderful and SAFE week! I am glad Trump was not badly hurt or killed! God is good!
