Well, President Trump and President Zelenskyy had a real rabble-rouser at the White House. The conversation became heated and some believe The Donald was disrespectful to Zelenskyy. I don’t see where the President was anything except brutally honest with the man. He DOESN’T hold any cards and is sending conscripts to act as cannon fodder for a war he can’t win. Zelenskyy reminds me of a panhandler at the off ramp, making a demand from a motorist for cash and being dissatisfied that it’s not enough. Why did The Donald allow this exchange to be televised? Bet it was because the last time he spoke to the Ukrainian President in private, impeachment charges followed.

What else….Clint Hill died last week. He was the Secret Service Agent who jumped onto President Kennedy’s car after the President was shot. I’ve watched interviews with him over the years. You could feel the deep pain he carried from that day. Each time this gentleman spoke about the events in Dallas, it brought tears to his eyes. He was as an example of what the public desires in a Secret Service Agent. They don’t make his kind anymore. When JFK died, 90% of the Nation mourned his death. What if the same thing happened to today? Would some people celebrate? Society has changed for the worse. May Clint Hill’s soul finally be at peace from that awful day that changed this country forever.

Let’s make a jump back to the present. Read an article about a Georgia teacher who stepped out of the classroom and left her phone on the desk. One of her students accessed it and found Mrs. Jones’ nude selfies. He posted them on the internet. Mrs. Jones lost her job but vows to sue the district claiming it was theft and an invasion of privacy. I’m with the school board on this one. She was irresponsible to leave an unlocked phone with pictures like that around students. If she had such hard copy photos of herself in an unsealed envelope on her desk, wouldn’t the school have the right to fire her? That is essentially what she did. Maybe it’s just because I went to school in the stone ages, before the internet, but it seems like a lot less learning goes on these day.

Hang in there Old Buddy. Sometimes the stuff going on is just too much to comprehend.
