If you like parades, keep in mind that Warsaw will be having one on June 7 at 11:00 AM on Main Street. It’s the Annual Jubilee Days Parade that begins down by the Town Branch and disperses when it gets past the old lumber yard. Jubilee Days Maestro Chuck Allcorn says it will be a real “Eye popper.”
Now that’s nice!
Not so nice is a new strain of Covid-19 that made its way over from… you guessed it, China. Isn’t it interesting that this happened right after The Donald hit them with new tariffs? What else? More whistleblowers are coming forward about President Biden’s cognitive decline. A new book says his administration was run by close aids called the “Politburo” and First Lady Jill Biden. Not the first time this has happened. Remember Edith Wilson? Congressional hearings are now in the works over the “Cover up.” When it all shakes out though, no one complicit will ever face justice. Our elected officials in D.C. talk endlessly about “Accountability.” Has anyone of real consequence ever been held accountable? NO! The level of deception and cover-up makes Watergate look like a parking ticket. No apologies will be given to those who called a spade a spade. Meanwhile, we continue to sail along with “Rules for thee, but not for me” from our leaders. Don’t forget how President Biden mandated Federal workers get vaccinated but Congress, the Senate and their employees were exempt.

Saturday was terrific. Niece Maeve and her husband Brandon took me on a day trip, up 65 highway to Marshall and over to Glasgow where Brandon has relatives. It’s a beautiful river town with grand old homes and Civil War history. While there I saw one of the most magnificent churches I’ve ever been in. Saint Mary’s of the Angels was built by the families of German and Irish Immigrants. It’s as stunning as any cathedral I’ve entered in this country or Austria and was built out of love from members. Two great figures of angels spread wings at the entryway. High vaulted ceilings inside and much more beauty…. I’d like to go back again.
