Have I Got A Line For You!

Let’s see…. What’s going on.
We’re well into the Autumnal Equinox and Daylight Savings Time is behind us. Before we know it, the Winter Solstice will arrive on our doorstep Thursday, December 21. Warsaw will flip the switch on the Christmas Lights this Saturday and Clinton is hosting Merry Main Street, both reassuring events in this chaotic world. But where did summer go? Time seems to zip by faster than I can imagine. Do you suppose this comes with age?

Hunter is demanding the Department of Justice conduct a probe into his ex-business partner Tony Bobulinski. Tony spilled the beans about the Biden Family’s shady business dealings? Isn’t it amazing that President Biden talks about white privilege and Hunter is the biggest beneficiary. I’m surprised people with knowledge of the Biden Crime Syndicate haven’t had accidental deaths and suicides. Remember Vince Foster? He was Deputy White House Counsel during the Clinton Administration. Then one day in July 1993, his body was found in a D.C. park next to a Civil War cannon. We’re still trying to figure out what really happened to him.

It’s hard to believe that 60 years will have passed since President John Kennedy was killed in Dallas, November 22, 1963. The horror of this event struck hard at the people in this country. We all grew up reading about Abraham Lincoln being shot at Ford’s Theatre, but things like that weren’t supposed to happen in modern times. It did happen again and then to President Reagan who was lucky to survive. I have a 33 recording that belonged to my Dad called “Three Days That Rocked The World.” It has all the radio and TV broadcasts from that weekend. Somehow, these events fade back into the depths of our consciousness, but when you turn on the TV during one of these anniversary’s, WHAM, the feeling of what the country lost is there again. Does this happen to you, too?

Time to close up shop for the day, but not before mentioning that Saturday is Veteran’s Day. As the old song says, “Bless ‘Em All.” And God bless you too Old Buddy.
