Clinton High School hosted the Clinton Cup where Clinton, Lone Jack, Smithton, Sacred Heart and Boonville all brought their talents to the field.
Clinton scored 22 goals in the tournament, started the season with a 4-0 record and are now named the Clinton Cup’s Tournament Champions.
Clinton won over Sacred Heart 8-0 in their first game. The Lady Cardinals won against the Lone Jack Mules 1-0. Clinton also won against Boonville, 5-0 in the last game of the cup.
Alex Johnson and other staff, volunteers and administrators worked hard to make this such a successful tournament!
