Rosalie Bennett, age 90, of Clinton, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Glendale Gardens in Clinton, MO.
Rosalie Peters Bennett, was a native of Henry County, and returned to her roots to be near her family as she enjoyed retirement.
She was raised near the Shawnee Mound and Leeton area, taught school in Henry County for three years and continued to teach in St. Louis for an additional year.
Needing a little adventure, Rosalie moved to Chicago where she was employed by American Airlines for five years and was transferred to Houston, Texas.
For the next 40 years, she resided in Houston and started a new career in interior design, both residential and commercial, and was a member of ASID.
Upon retiring she enjoyed volunteer work at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Hospital and the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Gift Shop. Rosalie felt fortunate to have worked with such a caring and professional group of Auxiliary Volunteers.
A private family burial was held in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, MO.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
