Chapter IU of the P.E.O. Sisterhood met Thursday, November 9th at 7:00 p.m. in the Rotary Building with 26 sisters answering to roll call. Brenda Ford and Judy McVeigh served as co-hostesses, and Allison Wetzel gave the program about her son and daughter-in-law’s Indian and Christian weddings. Along with Allison and her family, other sisters attending were Brenda Ford, Margaret Barr and Susie Wetzel who dressed in their wedding attire for the program.
Meredith Cooper, Marnie Bellamy and Jennifer Kiely were initiated into our sisterhood during a beautiful initiation ceremony.
Susie Wetzel was presented with a letter and certificate from the Missouri State Chapter honoring her for 50 years of membership in the P.E.O. Sisterhood.
Delicious seasonal cookies, chocolates, nuts, apple cider and assorted beverages were served by the co-hostesses.
The December meeting will be held Thursday, December 14th at 7 p.m. at the Rotary Building with Kathy Erviea and Lisa Wallace serving as co-hostesses.
