CCA Boys Junior High Basketball Celebrates 200th Program Win

On Friday January 26, 2024, the Clinton Christian Academy Boys Junior High Program recorded its 200th win in school history. The program was started in 2008 by then acting Athletic Director Kathy Brown. The current junior high boys team defeated St. Peter to improve to 9-1 on the season and improve the program record to 200 wins verse 106 losses. CCA invited former players who participated as part of the junior high program. The program has had over 70 players participate in a junior high game for the Patriots and over 21 were able to attend for an alumni game to celebrate the 200th win.
Former players that were able to attend include the CCA all time leading scorer in points, Keaton Townsend along with current CHS coach, Zachary Adams who is the second all-time scorer. Townsend is also the career assist and steals leader in CCA junior high history followed by Zachary Adams. Adams is also second in rebounds. Current coaches Jeff Adams, JD Manning, and Jeff Lowe were in attendance along with former coaches Elroy Schumacher and Jason Briggs.
