Junior and Senior classes of Clinton Christian Academy went to the First Baptist Church on the 20th of November and helped load shoe boxes. They are shipped to the Processing Center in North Carolina for Operation Christmas Child. Samaritan’s Purse: Operation Christmas Child is an organization that seeks to demonstrate God’s love to children
around the world. Samaritan’s Purse coordinates with many different churches worldwide to share the Gospel and make disciples. Every year for Christmas, the Samartian’s Purse collects these shoe boxes that have been filled with presents, personal hygiene items, and school supplies. Since it’s inception in 1993, these shoe boxes have been given to over 209 million children in more than 170 countries and territories. The CCA students helped load 16,031 shoes boxes onto three trailers. It was a great opportunity to serve our community locally and globally. By- Kennedy Vaughn
