Cole Camp Still Winless After Most Recent Loss At Lone Jack

After a huge 23 point second quarter, Lone Jack with Kingsville, went on to a 31-8 halftime lead over visiting Cole Camp en route to a 38-26 final victory.

The winless Bluebirds, who now stand at 0-5, gave up 5 passing touchdowns to the Mules who improved to 2-3 on the season with the win.

Cole Camp junior signal caller Grant Rodriguez was 3 for 8 passing with 48 yards and had 1 TD and 1 interception. He also went for 163 yard rushing on 24 attempts with 1 touchdown.

Clayton Archambault had 1 rushing TD and Connor Peterson caught a first quarter TD pass. Colton Phillips was good for a 2-point conversion. Teagan Sharpe had a fourth quarter safety.

Bluebirds head coach Kevin Shearer is still looking for answers with his young and inexperienced team.

Cole Camp hosts Butler this Friday with a chance for a sweet victory. The Bears are just 2-3, with their most recent loss coming last Friday at Adrian, 32-0. Stay tuned.
