Cynthia Ann Rhoades age 66, of Montrose, Missouri, passed away, Saturday, August 19, 2023 at her home, with her family by her side.
Cynthia Ann Rhoads was born on August 29, 1956 in Clinton, Missouri to Clayton and Shirley Landes.
Cindy worked in upholstery at Tracker Marine and in the fitting department at Wal-Mart in Clinton and Topeka. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, drinking diet coke and reading. She loved investigation shows on TV, but most of all she loved her grandkids.
Cindy is preceded in death by her husband C.L. Rhoads, her parents Clayton and Shirley Landes, and grandson Jason Caldwell.
Survivors include her children Carmen (David) Bristow of Clinton, Missouri, Michael (Angelia) Buce of Topeka, Kansas, Amy (Randy) White of Clinton, Missouri, Jerry Dale (Jeanne) Martin of Montrose, Missouri, and Sara Beth Martin of Montrose, Missouri, her sister Deborah (Jimmy) Greenwell of Deepwater, Missouri, 2 brothers Jr (Kate) Landes of Deepwater, Missouri, and Kevin (Carla) Foster of Deepwater, Missouri, 19 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
The family would like to thank ProMedica Hospice for all their care and compassion.
Memorial services were held August 31, 2023 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with Pastor Kenny Batson officiating. Special music included “Dancing In the Sky, Unchained Melody and How Can I Help You Say Goodbye.” Inurnment was in Teays Chapel Cemetery, Montrose, MO.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
