Daylon and Gayle Edmisten will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 21, 2023.
They married at Maywood Baptist Church in Independence Missouri on July 21, 1973.
Daylon was transferred to Clinton in 1978 with Missouri Public Service Company as District Operations Manager. Gayle volunteered and worked in Clinton until joining Systems Services in 2001 retiring in 2020. Daylon retired from Whiteman AFB in 2010.
They have three daughters; Colleen and Jeremy Bennett, Cynthia and Kevin Etters and Amanda and Jason Markham. They have 5 grandchildren; Preston and Emma Bennett, Rhyan Etters, Britany and Alexandria Markharn. One great grandson, Jasper Hurt and in September a great granddaughter, Jade Hurt.
