George Albert Dice, age 71, of Clinton, Missouri peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Warrensburg Veterans Home. George’s wishes were to be cremated and interment at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 20109 Business Hwy 13, Higginsville, Missouri. A memorial service will be held in the committal shelter at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2023, followed by a luncheon at Clinton Eagles Aerie #3667, 723 N 3rd Street, Clinton, Missouri.
George was born in Kansas City, Missouri to his parents, Roseline (King) Dice and Tom Dice. He graduated high school in Lowry City, Missouri in 1969 and joined the Navy. He retired as a Radioman First Class. He was a member of Clinton Eagles Aerie #3667 and enjoyed barefoot cruises, being at the lake on his houseboat, his dogs and refinishing furniture.
George is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Paul and Bob Dice, two sisters, Cindy and Darling Dice, and two sons, David and Jeremy Dice.
He leaves behind his wife, Darlene Dice, Clinton, Missouri, brothers Fred (Cynthia) and Roland Dice of Clinton, Missouri, sisters Willie (Curt) Cavanaugh, Nevada, Missouri and Norma Hohimer, Kearney, Missouri, daughter, Jenny (Dan) Sandstedt, New Oxford, Pennsylvania, stepchildren Stephan and Kelly Rowland, Kenneth Smith and Bonnie (Eric) Long, step-grandchildren, Alexis Rowland, Valerie Smith, Amanda Smith, and step-great-grandchildren, Dylan Keller and Fynn Carroll.
