GFWC Lorna Kemper Club met Nov 20 at the Clinton Methodist Church.
The meeting was opened with pledges to the American and Mo flags.
Kara Entrop from the Mo Department of Conservation was guest speaker.She gave a program on the common trees of Mo and wild edibles.
From nuts, wild berries and tree bark she served persimmon pudding, pawpaw bread, shagbark hickory syrup, candied pecans and thumbprint cookies filled with wild plum jelly.The delicious treats were enjoyed by all.
After the business meeting, it was closed with the Club Collect and refreshments were served by hostess Deanie Burk.
