Well, guess what? Swiss scientists found bones from a giant camel when they were digging in Syria. They may have discovered a new species of them. The bones seem to be from much larger camels than we have today, about as tall as a giraffe. There were more than 20 bones from different layers of rock, leading them to believe they lived in the area for thousands of years. Fascinating to think about and I remember a few years ago when we thought war was imminent with the Syrians.

The Donald’s CNN Town Hall was a real barn burner. Some folks were upset at CNN for airing the interview. Afterward, a CNN anchor stated that people “Would be within their rights to never watch CNN again.” UNBELIEVABLE! The idea that a news network can’t interview the leading candidate of one party because they don’t like him is ABSURD! The former President shot straight from the hip and said exactly what he was feeling and thinking. I don’t always agree how it comes out, but find it refreshing. Anderson Cooper said he was shaken by the whole thing. No shock here. It was the first time he’s ever been asked to be objective.

Daniel Penny, the former Marine who choked a man to death in a New York subway was charged with manslaughter last week. Penny stepped in when Jordan Neely was threatening passengers. Neely was arrested 42 times over the years. Most were minor charges. However, three were for unprovoked assaults on women in the subway. 42 arrests! I can’t get my head around that. It’s common sense that a person this disturbed would likely meet a violent end. I don’t think Mr. Penny should be charged. He tried to do the right thing and protect others. It’s what he was trained for. And I’m sorry for the state Mr. Neely found himself in. If I had the courage though, I’d have done what Mr. Penny did. Meanwhile, Alvin Bragg and the justice system in New York are straight out of the Marxism playbook. Persecute your enemies, release felons from prison, create chaos and destroy society.

Our world is moving faster and faster, with much awfulness and most of us don’t like it one bit. Prayer and a sense of humor are about all we have. Hang in there and hold on tight old buddy.
