Henry County Memory Fund hosted an Education Event on Thursday May 18, to education the community and provide information about the Charles F. and Joanne Knight ADRC at Washington University. The Washington University Knight ADRC is one of around 30 centers funded or otherwise supported by the National Institute on Aging with the collective aim of facilitating advanced research on Alzheimer Disease.
Andrea Denny, JD, LCSW with the Knight Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (Knight ADRC) at Washington University in St. Louis shared the progress in Alzheimer’s disease research and the vital role of those who participate in studies in helping to overcome the disease. She also shared how individuals 40 and older can participate in the research.
