HCMF - How Does Your Donation Help?

Posted

All donations to the Henry County Memory Fund stay local and help with those in need. Monies raised will help those with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other diseases that affect memory, pay for items such as prescriptions, durable medical equipment, respite stays, transportation, and housing assistance, payable to vendors only.
The funds are available to those with Alzheimer’s and dementia, caregivers and their families in Henry County and surrounding area. An application must be completed in full. Applications will be verified by a local committee. Invoices will be required to pay the vender related to the expense.
At the end of the year, the committee donates up to 10% of the funds raised to research for Alzheimer’s and dementia to continue in the fight for a cure.
Applications for assistance are available if you or someone you know is battling with Alzheimer’s or dementia and needs assistance. For more information contact any committee member or contact Ranae Walrath, 660-890-7294 or Christa Atchison, 660-525-1338. Once the full application is complete, it can be mailed to HCMF, PO Box 741, Clinton, MO 64735.
