Members of the Henry County Retired Teachers attended MRTA (Missouri Retired Teachers Association) Legislative Day in Jefferson City on February 14, 2023. Members were able to visit with elected officials to discuss issues relating to public education and public school retiree pensions. The event was to raise awareness of MRTA and its priorities to legislators while also providing time for education, advocacy, fellowship, and camaraderie.
