Lady Cardinals Beat Neosho, Roll Past Lincoln At Warsaw Tourney

Clinton girls basketball tipped off their season last Tuesday night, November 21, when they took on the Neosho Lady Tigers.
The Lady Cards led the game for most of the first half, then the Tigers began to catch up. After returning from the locker room at the halftime break, Clinton fired the offense back up and went home with their first win of the 2023-24 campaign, 46-40.
The Clinton offense was led by Briley Wishard with 21 points. Skyte Wilson was also in double digits with 14.
Garrett led the scoring for Neosho with 12 points while Washington added 10.

The Clinton Cardinals opened the 36th Annual Warsaw Invitational Girls Basketball Tournament on Monday night, November 27, with a more than decisive 58-8 win over Lincoln.
The Lady Cards played well for their second game of the season. The offense got off to a fast start and never looked back while the defense was suffocating throughout the entire contest.
Skyte Wilson led all scorers with 18 points while Briley Wishard tossed in 13. Vyla Brown also reached double figures with 10 for the Lady Cards.
