Clinton Cardinals varsity soccer took on East Kansas City last Thursday night and won 5-0.

Kinzlie Hager – 1 goal on 5 shots, Kylie Williamson – 1 goal on 4 shots, Skyte Wilson – 0 goals on 1 shot, Allie Cardwell – 1 goal on 1 shot, Sabrina Meloy took 3 shots but came up empty, Raylen Richman made 1 goal on her only shot, Leah Kenney had 1 assist and 1 shot, Bridget Newman took 1 shot and came up with no goals, Mia Bagley made 1 goal on 2 shots, Carly Fosnow made one shot but was unsuccessful in making a goal.
Clinton took the match with a final tally of 5-0.
On May 1, Clinton played Parkview in a close game and came up just short with a 1-0 loss to the Lady Vikings.

Clinton fought a tough defensive battle, but was unable to come up with a timely goal.
The Lady Cardinals will host Pleasant Hill this Thursday, travel to Smith-Cotton next Monday and then wrap up the regular season at home against Warrensburg next Tuesday night.
The Class 2 District 5 tournament is scheduled to begin on Saturday, May 13.
