Library Suspends Cards Pending Parental Approval

Effective immediately, all Henry County Library cardholders aged 17 and under will have their library card accounts temporarily suspended until a parent or guardian visits the library to give their consent for their child to have a library card enabling them to access all library materials.
This requirement is the result of a rule change at the Missouri State Library required by Secretary of State Rule 15 CSR 30-200.015 Library Certification Requirement for the Protection of Minors.
