Chapter IU of the P.E.O. Sisterhood met for their regular business meeting on Thursday, May 11th at the Henry County Museum. The members put on their best 50’s attire to celebrate their Golden Girls – members who have been part of the P.E.O. Sisterhood for 50 years. Many thanks to Susan Scott and Deb Mills who hosted the meeting, served Sundaes, root beer floats and led the group in a 50’s Jeopardy game - with “golden” categories. A great time was had by all 21 members in attendance.
Treva Jones is planning a B.I.L. in June at the Red Fox Winery. Melissa Swaters and Virgie Cook will host the next regular business meeting on June 8th at 7:00 p.m. in the Rotary Building.
