Warsaw Swept By Eldorado Springs On The Road

It was a long night for both Warsaw squads when they went on the road last Thursday night and came both came home with handy defeats at the hands of Eldorado Springs.

The Ladycats were up first and the only thing that stood between them and their ninth win of the season was the number one ranked team in Class 3 in the state of Missouri.

Warsaw got on the board first with a Tanna Howe 3-point shot and actually led 5-0 to start the game but it was all Lady Bulldogs from there as they led 40-16 at the half and then cruised in the second, whipping the Ladycats with a 67-24 final.

In their late night matchup, the Wildcats hung tight throughout the first half and only trailed by a 29-21 score at halftime but being on the wrong end of a 25-6 margin in the third quarter helped Eldorado Springs put things away in the second half as they handed Warsaw a 68-41 loss.

Only four players found the scoring column for the Wildcats. Logan Gemes led Warsaw with 14. Noah Siebert and Shane Poyser contributed 11 and 10 points, respectively, and Garrett Ferguson tossed in 6.
