Brenda Lee Abney of Marlin, Texas, passed away on March 26, 2026 at the age of 64. Brenda was born October 20, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois to Edward Paul Norris and Elizabeth Doshen. She grew up in California where she met her husband of 38 years, Tom. Brenda and Tom not only built a successful marriage, they managed to do it while being partners in work, and traveled the country pursuing projects. Brenda is survived by a large family who will greatly miss her laugh, presence, sense of fun and love and support of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brenda is survived by her husband Tom, step-mother Sharon Norris, daughter Kea (Miller) and husband Mark, son Matt and wife Michelle; grandchildren Courtney, Brandon, Jamie, Lindsey, Averee and Bayley and great-grandchildren Lilly, Paisleigh, Asher, Hudson, Shepherd, Millie, Leilani, Mia, and Kyler as well as her uncle Keith, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for Brenda on April 11th at their home in Marlin.
