Last Tuesday night, the Cardinals traveled to Eldorado Springs and came out on the wrong end of a 46-34 final.
It was a sluggish night for both offenses as Eldo held a 10-9 lead at the first quarter buzzer.
A 12-4 advantage for the home team in the second period made it 22-13 at the halftime break.
It was more offensive woes in the third for the Clinton offense as they were outscored 13-4 and the Bulldogs lead grew to 35-17 after three.
Things finally started to open up in the fourth, but it was too little too late as the 17-11 margin, in favor of the Cards wasn't enough in the 46-34 loss.
Jase Wilson was the lone Cardinal in double digits with 12.
