Coach Carlson and staff held a three day CMS football camp in June that was well attended. Coach Carlson made it clear the main purpose of the camp was to instill or review their offense. It was fun listening to the 7th and 8th graders practice the calling of plays. The different ‘sets’, pass or run, who gets the ball, left or right, through what ‘hole’, etc. All that takes practice. Football is a team sport, so if one guy messes up the wheels fall off quickly. Go Cards.
