For the Clinton High School girls basketball team; Mercedes Brown, Hannah Campbell, Allie Cardwell, Allie Goucher, Ava Potter, Katie Schaffer, Briley Wishard and Skyte Wilson all picked up awards for being excellent athletes not only on the court but also in the classroom.
For the boys basketball team; Mitchell Alexander, Jake Balke, Kaden Townsend and Jace Wilson were also awarded for being excellent athletes on the court and in the classroom.
For the Lady Cards; Mercedes Brown and Skyte Wilson were both named to the MRVC 1st Team, and Briley Wishard was an Honorable Mention selection in the MRVC.
Dom Jackson was named 1st Team in the MRVC for the Clinton Cardinals, Xzavier Ray and Richie Brown were both selected as Honorable Mention honorees.
Lady Cardinals head coach Stacie Womack and Cardinals head coach Franklin Jackson could not be more proud of their players for their achievements.
On March 21, 2023 the Lady Cardinals continued to rake in the awards as Mercedes Brown, Briley Wishard and Skyte Wilson were also named MSHSAA Class 4 District 13 All-District team.
