Chickfest 2024 is fast approaching! Clinton, Mo was once known for shipping out millions of baby chicks via rail and mail. The Gallery Three commemorates the history of Henry County chicken hatcheries by hosting a Peepfest of baby chick art. This year anything goes, wild or wonderful, we invite area artists to create a baby chicken in any format, paint, sculpt, sketch, photograph, stitch or stuff, but please keep it under 13 by 15 inches. The chickens need to be turned in to the Gallery by Friday, September 20th. There is no fee to enter. They will then be displayed in various windows around the square to be judged. The winner will be judged by People’s Choice ballots. There will be two categories; adult and school age. Adult prize is $30 and school age is $15.
