Clara Fields, age 79, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025 at Windsor Healthcare and Rehab Center in Windsor, Missouri.
Clara “Ansu” Fields was born on April 2, 1946 to James Theodore McLain and Retha Mae (Weems) McLain in Windsor, Missouri.
Clara was a member of The Rebekahs, the American Heart Association, the Business of Professional Women, and the Clinton United Methodist Church. She worked at the Union State Bank, Citizen State Bank, and Hawthorn Bank. Retiring after 39 years as the Assistant Vice President.
Survivors include her daughter Tammy Gisel (Dave) of Clinton, Missouri, one grandchild Shelly Nauyok (Marty) of Kansas City, Missouri, two great grandsons; Will and Patrick, her 2 brothers; Clifford McLain (Dixie) of Springfield, Missouri, and Jim McLain (Gail) of Tucson, Arizona, numerous nephews and nieces, along with many friends.
Memorial services were held April 10, 2025 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with Rev. David Mills officiating. Special music included “Sweet Hour of Prayer and Amazing Grace” with Peggy Arthur and David Mills as vocalists and pianist.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
