Crocodiles Swim At District Championship

The Clinton Crocodiles swim team attended Missouri Valley Short Course District Championship East meet this weekend in Platte City, MO. This is a qualifying meet that requires swimmers to have met certain time standards. Clinton had three swimmers qualify to attend. This meet has swum as a prelim/finals meet and all three swimmers swam at the finals!
AJ Phillips (12) swam the 50 Freestyle, 100 Backstroke, and 200 Freestyle. He advanced to finals in the 200 Freestyle and brought home 8th place!
Landon Brewer (10) swam 100 Butterfly, 100 Freestyle, 100 IM, 50 Freestyle, 50 Breast, and 50 Butterfly. He advanced to finals in four events and received 5th in the 100 Freestyle, 7th in the 50 Freestyle, and 2nd in the 50 Butterfly. Landon also qualified to swim at the Championships in March for the 100 Butterfly, 50 Butterfly, and 100 Freestyle.
Hadley Brewer (10) swam the 100 Freestyle, 100 Breast, 50 Freestyle, 50 Breast, and 50 Butterfly. Hadley advanced to finals in all of her events and brought home 1st in the 100 Freestyle, 7th in the 100 Breast, 3rd in the 50 Freestyle, 6th in the 50 Breast, and 3rd in the 50 Fly. Hadley added the 50 Freestyle, 50 Butterfly, and 100 Freestyle to events that she has qualified to swim at the Championships in March.
