Jacky Hunter of Clinton, Missouri passed away on Saturday, July 19, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Jacky was born on March 12, 1952 in Warrensburg, Missouri to James William Hunter and Flora Louise (Anderson) Hunter. Jacky married Patrica, May Day, 54 years ago in Clinton, Missouri.
He spent most of his career as a land surveyor, before he retired he became the city manager of Weaubleau, Missouri. Jacky was a simple man, he loved hunting and fishing. However his most loved and important job was being Pawpaw.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Flora Hunter.
Survivors include his wife Patrica Hunter, two daughters; Jacque Bagby (Robert Bagby), Jennie Shoemaker (Phillip Shoemaker), seven grandchildren; Dillyn Berschauer (Dakota Berschauer), Daniel Bagby, Taylor Bagby (Jerod Anderson), Grace Bagby, Paul Bagby, Mason Shoemaker, Aiden Shoemaker, three great grandchildren; Blakey Geneser, Eleanor Berschauer, and Locklan Anderson, and many other family and friends.
A memorial visitation was held July 26, 2025 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, MO.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
