Mrs. Karen Renee Hagerman, 81, of New Bloomfield, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2023 at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital Jefferson City. She was born Thursday, April 2, 1942 in Mt. Sterling, IL., a daughter of the late Clifford Agans and Loretta I. Morrell. Karen was united in marriage on June 8, 1957 to the late Thomas Preston Cumpton. She was later united in marriage on August 8, 1980 to the late Brady Edward Hagerman.
Karen was a licensed Cosmetologist for many years.
She is survived by her children: Clay (Louann) Cumpton of Urich, MO., Cole Cumpton of Creighton, MO., Curtis (Cindy) Cumpton of Urich, MO., Cliff Cumpton of Barnett, MO., Brian Hagerman of Loretto, TN., Brent Hagerman of Loretto, TN., Angela (Bob) Taylor of Mission, KS., Amy Hagerman of Lakewood, CO.; brothers: Ronald (Nancy) Agans of Garden City, MO., David (Wilda) Agans of Meredosia, IL; sister: Shirley Wilhite of New Bloomfield; sister in-law: Mary Agans of Jefferson City; numerous grand children, great-grand children, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mr. Cumpton and Mr. Hagerman, she was preceded in death by one son: Clint Cumpton; two grandsons: Tony Cumpton, Caleb Cumpton; two brothers: Richard Agans, Clifford Agans.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date with inurnment in Dayton Cemetery.
