Martha Henne, age 77, of Clinton, Missouri passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.
Martha Alice Henne was born on April 4, 1946 in Alta, Arkansas to Emmett and Mildred McAllister. She was one of eleven children. Martha lived in California most her life, later residing in Clinton, Missouri. She was a great artist that loved to draw and paint, she was funny and loved being around people. She worked as a waitress and supervisor. Family was a big part of her life and was very important to her.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Kelly Bridge, and 5 siblings, Dale, Richard, Carol, Linda and Don.
Survivors include her husband John Henne, two sons, Mike Bridge, Mark Bridge, three grandchildren, Cheryl, Zabrina, and Katlin, five siblings, Patricia Orvis, Shirley Jackson, Mary Haden, James McAllister, David McAllister and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held January 26, 2024 at the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton with Rev. Mark Abney officiating. Special music included “Amazing Grace, On Eagle’s Wings and What a Day.” Interment followed in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, MO.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
