Mary Sue Hubbard, age 94 of Raymore, MO went home to be with her Lord Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, MO.
Mary was born on September 9, 1931 in Kansas City, MO to Dorthy and Gale Maloney. Mary retired from Western Electric in August 1986. She was very active in her church and the Ladies VFW Auxiliary. Golf and bridge were her favorite pastimes.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon D. Stucker and husband, Robert of Kansas City, MO, son Mark A. Hubbard and wife Teresa of Davenport, IA, daughter-in-law Kathy Hubbard of Lee’s Summit, Mo; two sisters Gail Ezell of Kingston, OK and Dottie Anderson of LaCygne, KS; as well as 10 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents Gale and Dorthy Maloney; her son Michael Hubbard; brothers Edward and Geroge Maloney; sisters Betty Koch, May Dean Sarson and Helen Murrow and great granddaughter Lu Rose Hubbard.
Funeral services were held March 28, 2026 at the First Presbyterian Church, Clinton, MO with Rev. Mary Anna Townsend officiating. The casket bearers were Chris Hubbard, Jim Hubbard, Kyle Hubbard, Nathan Hubbard, Charlie Hubbard, Eric Stucker, Jason Stucker, Weston Stucker and Jeremy Smith. Special musical selections included "Amazing Grace, Blessed Assurance and His Eye Is On the Sparrow." Interment followed in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, MO.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
