Mason D. Spackler age 28, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away, Saturday, February 8, 2025.
Mason Daniel Spackler was born on April 12, 1996 to Walter Douglas and Teresa Renea (Breshears) Spackler. Mason was born and raised in Clinton, graduated from Clinton High School in 2014, attended the Missouri Welding Institute in 2015, and served in the U.S. Army from 2017-2020. He moved back to Clinton in 2023 and was employed with Evergy as an apprentice lineman. In June of 2018, Mason married the love of his life, Chelsea Ferguson. They welcomed their baby girl, Haisley, on October 23rd, 2020.
Mason was a devoted husband, father, and a friend to all who knew him. He had a love for sports of all kinds including baseball, wrestling, and beer league softball. He enjoyed hunting, boating, spending time at the lake, and building his dream home.
He is survived by his wife Chelsea, daughter Haisley, parents Doug and Teresa Spackler, brothers Kyle (Breanna) Spackler and Taylor (Jessica) Spackler, grandfather Kenneth (Peggy) Spackler, grandmother Wanda Breshears, father-in-law Jay (Liz) Ferguson, mother-in-law Pat (Scott) Muller, sister-in-law Camron Ferguson (Preston Vassar), step siblings-in-law Ellen, Bryce, and Cody, and nieces and nephews Ada, Camden, Hayden, Renlee, Stetson, Vaylin, Callie, Easton, and Brantley. He is preceded in death by grandmother Rollene Spackler-Freeman and grandfather Harold Breshears.
A Celebration of Life was held February 15, 2025 at the First Baptist Church, Clinton, MO with Rev. David Mills officiating. Special music included “There You Will Be, H.O.L.Y, and Give Heaven Some Hell.” Inurnment in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, MO.
Military honors were under the direction of VFW Post #1894 and the US Army. Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
