Michael John "Mike" Good

Michael John "Mike" Good, 76, of Clinton, MO, passed away October 27, 2025. Born February 4, 1949, in Oak Park, IL, he lived in Clinton for over 35 years. Mike devoted his life to faith, family, and service.

Mike attended St. Luke's Elementary, Fenwick High School, and Loyola University in Chicago. After moving to Clinton in the 1980s, he cared for his great-aunt, Agnes Beckwith, until her passing at age 99. He worked at the Henry County Library for more than 25 years and continued volunteering after retirement. Mike also volunteered with the Henry County Historical Society and Museum.

A fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus and devoted parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Mike was known for his warm spirit and homemade chocolate-chip cookies. He loved fishing and trains, especially "chasing trains" with family, and cherished local church dinners and festivals.

Survivors include siblings Ray "Randy" Good III, Peter (Joan), Bob (Lori), Carol, and John, niece Amanda Mitchell, nephews Kevin, Tim and Dan, and Dan's children Colin and Amelia. Preceded in death by parents Ray and Winifred Good, sister Patricia "Pat" and Vern Mitchell and sister-in law Jacqueline "Jackie" (Ray) Good.

Visitation Nov. 13, 5-7 p.m., and Nov. 14, 10-11 a.m.; Mass Nov. 14, 11 a.m., Holy Rosary Church, Clinton, MO. Burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Illinois will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Rosary Church or Henry County Historical Society & Museum.
