September 25, 1984 – March 20, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rachael Nicole Rhea, who left this world on March 20, 2025, at Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Born on September 25, 1984, in Kansas City, Rachael was a bright light in the lives of many—a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend.
She is moving on without her parents, Jeffery Rhea of Sunrise Beach, Missouri and Jodi Rosell of Clinton, Missouri, but leaves behind a loving legacy in her children, Michael Eberting of Kansas City, Missouri, and Scarlet B. Clow of Sunrise Beach, Missouri. She was also a proud grandmother to Myi’anna Keyshaw Eberting. Racheal will also be missed by her grandmothers, Tommye Washburn and Mary Long, her brother, Coby Young, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom will forever cherish her memory.
Rachael was known for her unwavering determination, her warm and infectious smile, her infectious laugh, and her boundless kindness. Racheal gave the biggest hugs, and anyone who received one should count themselves lucky. She was a friend you could always count on—loyal, loving, and full of life. She had a deep love for animals and a tireless work ethic, most recently working as a server at Lil’ Rizzo’s before dedicating herself to caring for others as an in-home caretaker in Clinton, Missouri.
As a child, Racheal loved dance class and gymnastics. She never lost her love of the outdoors, especially the mountains of Oregon. A favorite spot of hers near home were the ruins of HaHa Tonka and the view they offered of the Lake below.
Rachael’s presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Rachael’s life will be held at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri on Saturday, April 5th, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. and services starting at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your favorite charity or Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) in Rachael’s honor.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave.
