With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shane DeMichael Draper, who left us far too soon on February 2, 2025. Born on February 12, 2007, Shane lived every moment with passion, adventure, and a deep love for the people in his life.
Shane shared a bond with his mother, Anna, that was truly one of a kind. Their connection was built on love, respect, and countless heart-to-heart philosophical conversations about the wonders of life. Whether discussing dreams, mysteries, or the beauty of the world, Shane’s open mind and thoughtful nature left an unforgettable mark on his mother. Those moments will forever be cherished, and the bond they shared is irreplaceable, lasting beyond words and time.
Shane was a true outdoorsman, always seeking his next thrill—whether it was swimming, cliff jumping, or tearing up the trails on his dirt bike. He felt most at home under an open sky, especially when hunting alongside his dad, creating memories that will forever be cherished. His love for fast cars and motorcycles reflected his fearless spirit, always pushing the limits and living life to the fullest.
More than anything, Shane’s heart belonged to his family, friends, and girlfriend. He loved deeply, without hesitation, and left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, laughter, and adventurous soul will never be forgotten. He also had a mischievous side and loved pranking his father and siblings, keeping them on their toes with playful antics and infectious laughter that filled their home with joy.
Shane is survived by his mother, Anna Anderson (Christian); his father, Frankie Lee Draper II; his stepmother, Caitlyn Wallen; his stepfather, Brandon Anderson; his siblings, Elyse Draper, Jackson Draper; his stepbrothers, Caden Anderson, Gage Anderson; and his stepsister, Haley Wallen. He was cherished by many extended family members and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Though Shane’s time with us was far too short, his adventurous spirit, boundless love, and fearless heart will live on in the lives of those he touched. Ride fast, live free, and rest easy, Shane—you will always be remembered.
