FORMER LADY CARD Gentry Wishard, a Clinton Alum and UCM Softball standout pitcher, has played her last competitive game with the Jennies. Gentry was an excellent pitcher for the Clinton Cardinals and many travel teams in the KC area. She pitched for the UCM Jennies for four years, but is moving on to grad school at MSU. Many of us in Clinton have watched this young lady grow up on and off the field and are proud of her. Her parents are Brian and Angie Wishard of Clinton. Gentry has a little sister, Briley, whom you have also seen on this sports page many times. Thanks for the memories, Gentry. Seen with Gentry is her college coach, Susan Anderson. The Jennies are usually very competitive in the MIAA, but this year they struggled at 17-36. Gentry had a career mark of 19-15.
