The Clinton Daily Democrat is excited to introduce Owen Scoles as the Staff Sports Reporter for the Clinton Daily Democrat.
As the Staff Sports Reporter for the Clinton Daily Democrat I am excited to take on this new endeavor. I will strive to bring Clinton and surrounding area sports back to the Clinton Daily Democrat with more coverage and fresh new ideas. It will be difficult to live up to the writing of long-time sports reporter Tim Komer but I am sure with pointers from Tim and the team at the Clinton Daily Democrat the readers of the sports section will be pleased with the quality of writing and photos that I submit for the sports section. I am excited to do a coach of the week and highlight the people who invest so much of their time into the Students of the Clinton School District. We truly are blessed to have people that invest so much in the students of the Clinton area. I am excited to cover not only Clinton High School sports but also Recreational League sports as well.
