Thanks to Santa and his elf, via Mike Keith Insurance Agency, for stopping by and seeing us here at the Chamber. They were here on Wed. afternoon. Thanks!
Mark, Joyce and I at the Chamber would just like to publicly say “THANK YOU” to the Chamber’s 2022 President Daniel Dody. Most of you probably know that this year has been a difficult one for the Dody family due to Whitney’s battle with cancer. However, we have watched them keep their faith and take on every battle. Daniel thinks he was not involved enough with the Chamber because of Whitney’s treatments and surgery, but we are here to say that he was ALWAYS available to us and did a tremendous job. He set the bar pretty high for incoming President Adam Cummings. I’m sure we’ll be praising Adam this time next year and we wish him and his family a healthy 2023.
We could use your help! The Clinton Tourism Committee has purchased a full-page ad in RoadRUNNER Motorcycle Touring & Travel magazine and their online editions. RoadRUNNER is America’s only print magazine dedicated to motorcycle travel. It has been called the National Geographic of motorcycle magazines. In order to complete our ad that will be telling and showing all the reasons motorcyclists should come to and stay in Clinton, we would love to include some photos of local motorcyclists, whether someone got a good pic of you traveling down the road or a group photo of you and your friends with your machines. We don’t know how many photos we need, but we would love to get a bunch to have on-hand if needed. Just email your picture(s) to david@clintonmo.com or joyce@clintonmo.com. Thanks in advance!
Earlier this week, GVMH held a groundbreaking ceremony for their new radiation oncology facility. The state-of-the-art center will have the most up-to-date radiation technology in Missouri. It will allow patients to get expert cancer care, see familiar specialists and staff, and help relieve the burden of traveling far from home to receive treatment. The center will be completed in approximately one year.
Care Connection needs you! We are well into our year-end fundraising campaign for our 20 centers, and we need your help! We rely on donations for about one-third of the revenue to keep our centers providing meals and services to nearly 10,000 older adults in our communities. Your donation in any amount will help us continue to serve the seniors in your community. Mail your check to P.O. Box 1078, Warrensburg, MO, 64093. Together, we can make a difference for our elder neighbors!
The Clinton Chamber Announces It’s Small Business Season: Support Local Clinton and Henry Co. businesses. Throughout the holiday shopping season, the Chamber is encouraging consumers to “Think Small” and earmark at least part of their holiday spending in support of local small business. Mark, David and Joyce at the Clinton Chamber remind you that small business is the backbone of our economy. 64% of our new jobs in the US come from small business. When people spend their dollars locally, more money stays local. On average, for every 100 spent locally, $68 of that stays here.

The Dog Groomer LLC Clinton, MO We have put up our “Shelter Tree” again this year. It is similar to an Angel Tree except it is only for the Dogs and Cats at The Clinton Animal Shelter. Each ornament has the name of a Dog or Cat currently at the Shelter and on the back of each ornament are two items that are on the Shelters Wish List. We ask that you choose one item on the ornament to purchase and bring that back to put under our “Shelter Tree.” We will place your ornament on the tree when you bring in your “gift” to the Shelter. Our goal is to fill the tree with ornaments by Christmas.
