The Lady Cardinals dominated the first half of a mid-week matchup at home with Sacred Heart last Thursday night, adding yet another win to their season total with a final score of 59-41.
Clinton led 13-7 after one, and Skyte Wilson's barrage of 3-pointers in the second quarter led to a 20-6 margin for 33-13 Lady Cardinals lead at the half.
The Lady Cardinals played patiently in the third quarter and didn't really get back into their their rhythm until late in the quarter, leading to a 12-8 margin for the visitors, cutting the Clinton lead to 41-25.
In the fourth frame, both teams went toe-to-toe with another, but in the end, the Lady Cardinals came up with timely buckets and went 5-for-7 from the line to seal the 59-41 win.
Skyte Wilson paced the offense for the Lady Cardinals with 19 points. Briley Wishard and Mercedez Brown knocked down 14 and 12, respectively.

The Cardinals boy's squad hung tight in the first half, but couldn't buy a basket in the second half as they fell to Sacred Heart, 59-46.
Clinton held a 14-13 lead at the end of the opening period, but a 17-15 margin for the visitors in the second quarter put the Cardinals down, 30-29 at the half.
Coming out of the locker room, the Clinton offense struggled to get anything going on their end of the floor, connecting on just three field goals in the third quarter as they fell behind 42-37.
In the fourth, just two more field goals and a few trips to the line accounted for all of the Cardinals offense as Sacred Heart pulled way and stole the win, 59-46.
Dom Jackson was the lone Cardinal in double-digits with 20.
