Cardinals wrestling put up a strong fight in Harrisonville last Tuesday, leaving their mark on the event as they push deeper into the season.
While both varsity boys and girls lost in team scoring as open weight classes proved to be a difference, the teams each still managed to put together a respectable showing.
For their part, the Lady Cards cinched up a 5-1 record in their matches with Kylee Whalan, Mia Bagley, Amitria McNack, Rylee Cannon and Abby Jones each picking up strong wins. Rylee Canon impressed as she handled business in her first match of the season for a crucial win.
For the Varsity Boy’s, the team went 5-6 at the event with Lucas McMenemy, Drake Cannon, Payton Goth, Landon King, and Triston Switzer all coming out on top.
