1991 Clinton High School graduate, Lori Abiecunas was a guest speaker for Clinton Middle School students in Mrs. Hager’s FCS (Family and Consumer Science) classes. Lori lived in China for many years and has brought her cultural and culinary experiences back to the USA to share with youth.
Students had the chance to learn about Chinese culture just in time for the Chinese New Year. Students enjoyed practicing Chinese characters with bristle pens, playing a Beijing memory game, viewing Chinese toys, artifacts, candy and money, and eating homemade pork dumplings.
